Turkish Style sits on Borestone Crescent in St Ninians, black-and-orange sign, two barber poles and an OPEN light in the window. Hair cut, wet shave, hot towel, kids' cut, O.A.P — it is all listed right there on the front.
Inside it is bright and clean: marble floor, brick walls, big mirrors and a row of barber chairs. There is an orange bench to wait on, and a little red car for the kids to sit in while they get their hair cut.
Razor shaves come with the hot towel, steamed and wrapped, the way it should be. Open Monday to Saturday 9am–6pm and Sunday 10am–5pm, with parking in the rear.
